A review of the timeline all but confirms this was EXACTLY the case. No one made much of it at the time, but during his press 2009 press conference announcing he would resign from Congress, Weiner responded to a reporter’s question: “When did your wife find out?”
“MY WIFE HAS KNOWN about some of these online relationships SINCE BEFORE WE WERE MARRIED, and we spoke frankly about them because—WE ALWAYS SPOKE FRANKLY ABOUT THEM. (Emphasis mine.)
As Secretary of State, it would only have been prudent for Hillary to vet the man her top aide would marry to ensure he would not become a security risk or political liability? As the person responsible for selecting Weiner as a suitable marital prospect for Huma, what are the odds that Hillary DIDN’T KNOW?
I read elsewhere that the inner circle of HRC was well aware of Weiner’s proclivities. I believe it said that for five years they have known. Truly dark in Hillary’s world.
