Yeah this year is funny that way. DT definitely doing better than Romney in Ohio but worse in Arizona.

As I posted on another thread, a GOP pollster in Ohio told Sean Hannity last week they had Trump +9 for two nights in a row last week, and that was prior to the FBI bombshell. Hannity did not reveal the polling firm—got to wonder if it is the same firm.

I’m a former Ohio resident (Dayton area, GOP suburbs). Some of my friends who still live there tell me Dim turnout will be well below 2012 and they can’t generate the votes in the Cleveland area to offset GOP margins elsewhere. Ted Strickland’s failing Senate bid is also a big drag on the Dims; it’s been obvious for a month that Rob Portman will beat him by a big margin, just one more reason for the Democratic base to stay home on election day.

I think the real story in Ohio is the return of Reagan Democrats to the GOP fold—and it’s because of Trump. The number of Republican votes in Democratic bastions in Ohio is going to surprise people. Trump won’t carry Cuyahoga County, but he’ll get more votes there than any GOP candidate since Reagan.
