Harry Reid is just making stuff up.
He’s done this many times in the past.

That's what he did with Romney's taxes, and he was proud of it:
Is there a line he wouldnt cross when it comes to political warfare?
I dont know what that line would be, [Reid] said.

Yes - he is making stuff up. And half of the nation will nod their heads sagely and know that he is right.
Most demoncraps are not stupid. Projection and fabrication are effective techniques. Ask the Soviets.

he seems behind the curve, the moonbats on twitter say Trump’s about to be charged with racketeering and child rape, so Harry ought to be spreading that BS. Unless maybe he thinks they’re talking about the Clintons.

Remember with Romney he read into the senate minutes that he believed Romney didn't pay income taxes.
Then later in the campaign he said "Words out that Romney didn't pay income taxes".
He created his own rumor then quoted himself and was never called on it.
