It really is beginning to sound like NYPD could have been the whistleblower on the FBI's attempt to suppress information and conduct a bona fide investigation.
NYPD officers are as street smart as they get. They know they can’t trust the Mayor or any city political appointee.
Remember when they turned their backs on DiBlasio after he became mayor?
They know they can’t trust _anyone_ in DC.
They know the Clintons are just glorified street hustlers—and the cops knew they had to protect their evidence by any means necessary—which probably meant getting a copy to Wikileaks for release if necessary.
You’re right. This rumor is being slung around NYPD Facebook chatter that NYPD was going to release something about it and the FBI had to preempt.
It’s also a delay tactic because there are rumors that info might have been send to Hillary’s foreign clients through Huma.

This doesn’t change the fact that Comey is in the tank for the ‘Toons. The email server which was set up to obstruct justice by itself was enough to put Hill in the fed pen for over a decade.
Here is my theory.
Comey has millions in ill gotten gains from Billary.
So he put people he has the goods on to investigate Billary.
Meanwhile the NYPD Special Crimes Unit has an investigation going on on Wiener.
So there is all this evidence that Comey can’t destroy as it is outside his control.
Oh, crap! He has to go public with it.
It is obvious that this is NOT due to serious evidence, or threats to national security because by just setting up the server to obstruct justice that bar was already met.
It has been widely reported the lengths to which Comey was going to destroy all Clinton evidence.
Of course we have been hearing about the mutiny in the FBI, so that put more pressue on Comey as well. This is likely worse that we’ve heard. The problem is that Comey cannot fire anyone, as they will go to the press.
I suspect that a lot of the NYPD officers know that Hillary referred to her protection detail as “pigs.” This is just so KARMIC!
Weiner wanted to screw someone now it looks like he may get his wish.
It may end up that he accidentally throws the blocks to Hillary!
Two ads being shown by the Beast from Planet Clintoonie really make me sick. They drip with lies. The one where she says she has been fighting for kids (who escaped the womb) for 30 years but being a big supporter of “planned parenthood”. The other is the “republican” actor who says she’s worried about her son because Trump made fun of a disabled reporter. That woman cannot be a Republican because she is so friggin’ stupid. A total moron. Anyone with any sense knows that the motions Trump made with his arms when talking about the reporter are the same exact motions he made when he was blasting one of the Kenyan’s generals. The clips are out there. Only frauds like the “republican mother” would be too stupid to not use them to inform her dumb ass. The woman is an idiot.
NYPD -once again, beginning to look like the true heroes and patriots.

I just posted another NYPost article- implicating the sex crimes unit of the FBI.
Which sounds different than the regular FBI. So perhaps the fact that the girl Weiner was sexting was a NC girl and that made his crime federal- so they became involved., IDK.

NYPD made this happen.
They took this to the FBI’s NY Field Office, who were quite happy to take the ball and run with it.
Comey was blindsided and ran to Congress to try and get out in front of the whole thing.
NYPD do respect Rudy and Trump. These are the guys who forced corrupt comey’s hand.

You are correct. It was a dual investigation. NY, NC, no difference. The Special Crimes handles cyber crime. The NYPD would be involved due to Weiner’s son being in bed next to him as he sexted and NY SVU crimes.
NYPD would not be subject to confidentiality agreements in place with FBI agents sworn to the agency. The weasel director was cornered to act.
