When I read about this a while back—that the FBI had destroyed the laptops-my jaw dropped. There’s something fundamentally wrong with LEOs, at any level, destroying evidence pertinent to a criminal investigation, whether part of am immunity deal or not.

The vast, Yuge amount of info of interest is on the hard drive. It makes no sense to destroy the whole computer. Those computers w/o the hds should be on display at the Smithsonian.
