Dear Messrs Chairmen: In previous congressional testimony, l referred to the fact that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had completed its investigation of former Secretary Clinton's personal email server. Due to recent developments, I am writing to supplement my previous testimony.
In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation. I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday, and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.
Although the FBI cannot yet assess whether or not this material may be significant, and I cannot predict how long it will take us to complete this additional work, I believe it is important to update your Committees about our efforts in light of my previous testimony.

Clinton twice states the letter was sent to Republicans and the second time says only Republicans. But as can be seen in the letter, linked to in this post, it was sent to Republican Committee chairs and also to democrat committee members such as. Diane Feinstein, Adam Schiff etc...
Her distortive lie is clearly a variation on the vast right wing conspiracy defense she has used before.
She knew that Democrats received the letter.
But, she knows she will be able to make the statement without any significant challenge.
All she needs to do is sell the lie to the low information voters.
Looks like Comey is about to get the Ken Starr treatment.

She 100% full well knows she lied.
She did it deliberately with forethought.
It was purposely done to mislead and create false impression on the electorate.
Another sleazy thing she said was to vote as soon as possible.
In other words, she knows it will get worse but if people vote early, they can’t take their vote back.

While watching hildabeast at her presser spill out those lies I said out loud to my golden retriever “she is mentioning Republicans only”, trying to make this some sort of a scandal that she’s being gone after by Republicans spinning it”. What a lying douchebag.
She is a pathological liar. Wikileaks has shown even her staff knows she has a problem.
I commented on this right as she said it on the live stream. I figured she was lying on the basis of the fact that technically the letter only went “to” those R’s at the top and the ranking members, mostly D’s were listed at the bottom, only with a “l” rather than the more common “cc”.
That makes one person who will get a unanimous vote from Americans this fall.
That’s how she can claim she wasn’t lying.
But it was a lie.
Very confusing as this is what I saw at the link I posted earlier and again here - only the Republicans got the letter when Blitzer himself on CNN said the letter went to the ranking members also. He corrected Fallon about that when Fallon said only REPUBLICANS got the letter.
I couldn’t figure that out. Now your link has EVERYONE.... The link below does say “text” of the letter so perhaps I should have paid closer attention to that!
