--SNIP-- Judge Andrew Napolitano reports 7/2/15: I read the transcripts of an interview Fox's chief intelligence correspondent, and Pamela Browne, our senior executive producer, did with a man named Marc Turi, and I reviewed emails to and from State Department---and congressional officials----during the years when Hillary Clinton was the secretary of state.

BACKSTORY Turi is a lawfully licensed American arms dealer. In 2011, he applied to the Departments of State and Treasury for approvals to sell arms to the government of Qatar. Qatar is a small Middle Eastern country whose government is so entwined with the U.S. government that it almost always will do what American government officials ask of it. Turi sold hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of arms to the government of Qatar, which then, at the request of American government officials, were sold, bartered or given to rebel groups in Libya and Syria. Some of the groups that received the arms were on the U.S. terror list...

In its efforts to keep arms from countries and groups that might harm Americans and American interests, Congress has authorized the Departments of State and Treasury to be arms gatekeepers. They can declare a country or group to be a terrorist organization, in which case selling or facilitating the sale of arms to them is a felony. They also can license dealers to sell.

CONCLUSION Clinton’s secret State Department and her secret war facilitated this.....Because Clinton used her husband’s computer server for all of her email traffic while she was the secretary of state, a violation of three federal laws, few in the State Department outside her inner circle knew what she was up to.

Clinton Foundation donations funded State Dept approval of arms shipments to repressive governments. During the time Hillary Clinton was America’s Secy of State, she oversaw approved $165 billion worth of commercial arms sales to 20 nations.....governments that forked over millions of dollars to the now-embattled Clinton Foundation.

According to an International Business Times report by David Sirota and Andrew Perez, “at least seven foreign governments that received State Department clearance for American arms did donate to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary Clinton was serving as secretary.” The article identified the seven nations as Algeria, Australia, Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Qatar, and Thailand.

Mainstream media’s surprisingly probing coverage of the unfolding Clinton Foundation donations-for-favors scandal suggests that reporters have turned on the Clintons in the age of Obama.

And the fact that the IBT piece was co-authored by Marxist author and radio talk show host David Sirota adds to the growing pile of evidence that some of the more ideologically pure progressives in the Democratic Party are ganging up on Mrs. Clinton in order to help as yet undeclared presidential candidate Sen. According to an IBT report, “at least seven foreign governments received State Dept clearance for American arms AND are on-record as donors to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary was Secy of State.” Oman and Qatar were named as countries favored for arms sales by Hillary's State Dept.

The Clinton presidential library in Arkansas lists Brunei, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar as donors that gave between $1 million and $5 million (at the time of research).

The Clinton foundation itself confirmed the 2002 Brunei donation: "The Clinton Foundation's impact would not be possible without the generous support of our donors," the foundation's website reads.
