Re: Nightly Labor Update
Got it. I'll work on that and maybe research can also find some examples of this too. I'll keep digging.

Totally agree. I'm just worried less experienced reporters won't understand that they're not a "real" union.

I'm going to circle back with Tony tonight to find that out (about HRC praise). I would be wary of trying to attack them as fringe but I think pointing out the nurse support we do have (I'll have that ready with AFT) and HRC's record should help. But you know the press will love this story. Finding a creative way to shake it I think is worth the effort.

On the nurses--can we be ready w background for the press team on how fringe they are? Also have they praised HRC before?

GOOD! HAHAHAH
Quoting from their endorsement of Hillary while decrying the ANA endorsement of Hillary:
Thats due to Sanders stellar record of consistent support for nurses, patients, and working families, exemplified in his campaign for guaranteed healthcare for all, through an improved and expanded Medicare for all, free college tuition and eradicating student debt which is also critical for nurses, and his challenge to Wall Street, which includes many health care corporations.
And Bernie Sanders is the only candidate who supports national legislation, sponsored by NNU, to establish mandatory limits on the number of patients assigned to each RN, Senate S. 864, which he co-sponsors, and the HR 1602.
By contrast, the American Nurses Association, which is supporting Hillary Clinton, is primarily a lobbying arm for the nurse administrators and academics who govern it and functions largely as an adjunct to the health care industry .
ANAs Foundation, for example, features a corporate advisory board that includes pharmaceutical giants, such as Merck, Pfizer, and McKesson, and health industry technology companies, with major funding also from the health insurance industry, including the nations largest UnitedHealth, and hospital corporations.
IOWs more evidence Hillary is in the tank for the big money rather than those who work.
I am not sure either one of those is an endorsement I would want. Support big money or free shit for all.
