Student protesters at the University of California-Berkeley gathered in front of a bridge on campus and forcibly prevented white people from crossing it. Students of color were allowed to pass.
The massive human wall was conceived as a pro-safe space demonstration. Activists wanted the university administration to designate additional safe spaces for trans students, gay students, and students of color. They were apparently incensed that one of their official safe spaces had been moved from the fifth floor of a building to the basement.
According to video footage of the protest, demonstrators blocked off the bridge completely. Students who needed to get to class had no choice but to cross the stream by jumping from rock to rock. Dozens of people can be seen doing so.

That’s Sather Gate, the main entrance to the campus. In fact, I can’t think of any other way to get in from that side (south). Perhaps way up at the top of campus from behind the Optometry Bldg. (Or what used to be the optometry bldg. Have no idea what it’s called now.)

Segregation works. White flight is an effective way to reduce crimes of African origin against whites, Asians, and others. If you have ever tried to raise a family in an African neighborhood you find out very quickly why non-blacks leave and it has nothing to do with color, but everything to do with their criminal behavior.
A once grand and dignified institution brought into the gutter again. Sather Gate was once the center of the Free Speech Movement — another black mark on the institution because it quickly became the Filthy Speech Movement.

Even in college, if me and my friends ran into this, we’d laugh and give then one warning.
Please dont tell me the white boys tiptoed across the stream on rocks?
Good thing colleges don’t grade on what is actually learned anymore.
I see this new ‘segregation’ and feel for the many ahead of these ‘enlightened’ yutes who got there butts kicked, jailed and other ‘things’ because they dared want to go in the front door of a restaurant or get a drink of water etc etc etc.
Funny how todays Americans of African descent supposedly ‘hate the Jews’ while a short 60 or 70 years ago it was the Jewish youth who organized the Americans of African descent to vote, many times at the cost of their own lives and the Jewish were virtually the only ones that would grant credit and give jobs to certain neighbors (the older ‘corner markets’ were owned and operated by Jews and they - for the most part - lived above the store and hired local kids to work in their stores.
Now the offspring of the Blacks that sacrificed and offered themselves up to make it ‘easier’ for them are now demanding separate housing etc.
Were a White group demanding segregated housing and classes in a STATE RUN public institution, they would be run out of town.
While the Black group is given public funded police protection to ‘ban’ the Whites from entering the building.

Where were the cops? Police in Berkeley have a policy to arrest - arrest - any man any woman claims made her uncomfortable for any reason, even just a look with no evidence, on her word alone. And yet they allow this?
UC Berkeley aids and abets racism.
UC Berleley thinks all white and asian students should gracefully accept getting kicked in the mouth or bricked in the head by black and hispanic students who hate them due to race.
I hear a Class Action Lawsuit slowing putting itself together. If/ when such a lawsuit occurs, it will probably only happen after these students have graduated and moved on.
We know how left wingers like to retaliate against those who expose their crimes and weaknesses.
Just tell them you don’t identify as white but as a small Mexican man.
