Name Change X

She went back to her maiden name after a divorce. She has since attempted remarriage (she's Irish and Italian, so I don't know if there are any Catholic related issues with that) but chose not to use her new last name "Brunt" professionally. I don't hold that against her.

Of course, she has become the opposite of a good journalist, wanting to BE the story. It was better when women didn't read the news. Huntley-Brinkley, anyone?

Megyn Kelly’s self proclaimed role model is Oprah Winfrey. Oprah, the transcendental book club faker and Obama endorser, who imagines herself to be a deity.

What else does anyone need to know?

She married her first husband in the Church and never got an annulment. She married her second husband in a hotel wedding so it’s not valid in the eyes of the Church. Still, she has the audacity to consider herself a practicing Catholic but supports a pro-abortion candidate like Hillary. Shame on her!

Dr. Sivana, that’s a good point you made about female journalists.

I was a newspaperman from 1983-2009 and I can tell you that a male-dominated newsroom was a more comfortable place to work.

Journalists aren’t the most collegial of people under the best of circumstances. When you throw the gender war into the mix, rivalries heat up in a hurry.

Conversely, the first really big story I covered, a United Steelworkers strike that dragged on for four months, taught me that your competitor isn’t necessarily your enemy.

There were four of us guys from rival news organizations covering the strike regularly. While we would do our level best to beat each other to stories, there was no animosity, and sometimes we would share information.

But when the hot blonde from the local television station showed up ... let’s just say we things got a little tense.

Of course, she has become the opposite of a good journalist, wanting to BE the story.

Her mindset is in keeping with today's selfie/instagram culture. If you or I saw an eagle perched on a tree, we'd photograph the eagle. If someone like Megyn Kelly saw the eagle, she would take a close-up selfie with just a small part of the eagle showing up out of focus in the background.
