What, you voted for Obama in 2012? Well make you a Hillary leaning GOP voter!
We have been called four times this month where we were disqualified because we were not on a cell phone.
It’s not enforced because politicians use robo calling.
Political seasons really give my phoneblocking a workout. Between the GOTV calls and the polls I’ve blocked dozens of numbers in the last few months. Especially SSI, man those guys are jerks, they’ll call you 3 or 4 times in one night, even if you answer and say you don’t want to answer anymore polls ever 20 minutes later... They were the first ones I blocked with the new phone.
Remember political related calls were specifically exempted from the federal do not call law. So actually they aren’t breaking that law. Your state may vary.

Interesting. They must have been trying to get the cellphone respondents up to whatever number they wanted. According to the article they must, by law, manually dial cellphone numbers.
But NOT exempted from Casa Catnipman Policy Number 1A, which guarantees that 2nd and subsequent calls from ANY unwanted caller is automatically forwarded to “Lenny” (347-514-7296).
Ping! poll mechanics...
It’s simple: Trump voters that did not vote in the last few elections are NOT BEING POLLED, because they are not deemed to be “Likely voters.”
Polls are NOT news..!!
“I seldom answer my phone anymore. The continuous interruptions by sales people finally broke me of the habit.”
As far as I’m concerned the telephone is there as a tool for me to bother other people not for them to bother me.
Good one, FRiend.
Here’s my common sense take on polling.
Conservatives are the segment of the voting public hardest to poll.
How many of us have even residual respect for the media? How many are willing to cooperate with the media in any way?
It seems to me that I have gotten far fewer polling calls this year than in past elections.
That’s a shame, because I think it would be a hoot to answer like this: “How much are you going to pay me for my time and opinions.”
You get the prize — they “make up” stuff. When we know they do that there’s no reason to pay attention to their results.

Yes. It comes down to getting the turnout model right and determining how likely poll respondents are to vote is key.
