Maybe Hannity had orders from his boss to make the interview look bad. Or maybe Hannity just does not have the talent to bring out information from a reluctant interviewee.

Exactly— the fox execs told him not to bring up anything too big.. which is something that no execs on any MSM show takes into consideration about Trump.. Even a porn star started a sex toy shop can get on the air making up stuff about Trump..
Or maybe this whole thing was an Operation Fortitude or at the least an Operation Muncemeat launched by Podesta, knowing how desperate the Right and Trump are for any and all oppo research on Clinton.
The guy was very non committed to telling a whole story. He was being protective.
