Reporting from far west Knox Co., TN, a Republican stronghold. I’ve been by the Farragut town hall just about every day since early voting began on the 19th. Parking lot’s been FULL all day, so I haven’t gone in to vote yet. It was the same way during the Republican primary. Not being a line stander, I’m waiting for a lull before I vote.
Howdy neighbor! We voted in Farragut on Day Two of early voting. We got there just as the polls opened at 10 am and the parking lot was full.
The line was very long, but it moved quickly. They were ready for the onslaught.
Local news reported 9200 turned out on Day One. Farragut is a nice little town on the border with Knoxville.
No worries about Tennessee—we’re solidly red and will be called early.
