WELLSTON, Oklahoma -
Law officers are searching for a man accused of shooting two police officers Sunday evening near Wellston in Lincoln County, authorities reported.
The missing suspect has been identified as 38-year-old Michael Vance. He is a white man, is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 185 pounds.
Up on Highway 44 NE of OKC city...... a lot of space to run. Not gonna end well for “him”....
He’s headed to Texas .... either Altus on 283 to DFW area or straight west on I- 40 to the Panhandle.....
“””UPDATE (10/24 3:55 a.m.) - Beckham County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting at the Flying J just off of I-40 in Sayre around 2:30 a.m.
Beckham County Sheriff Scott Jay says the victim was hit in the thigh and taken to the hospital.
The shooter, who officials believe to be Vance, fled the scene in a gray/silver Mitsubishi Eclipse.
Jay believes this was a car hijacking gone wrong.”””
Wow! That is surely quick in an article. Normally, (lately) the media withholds the race.
Telling ain’t it.....
We have had several shootings/killings this past week in Tulsa. In each news report, the media has concealed the race of the shooter (who have all turned out to be black). AP changed their guidelines in 2012, to eliminate describing the race of suspects, if they are in a protected class, to eliminate stereotyping. You can google “AP guidelines and race” and see all the articles covering the style/guideline updates.
A guy with this record was released? On parole? Finished his (joke) of a sentence? Who’s the unnamed other person? A woman was shot but refused treatment? This story leaves a lot unanswered.
Ain’t gonna be no BLM shooting cops if it hurts Hillary’s prospects. Curious, huh?
It is funny how they do that.
He may be biracial but that face does not look white.
The Myth of the Racist Cop
Four studies out this year show that if police are biased, its in favor of blacks.

FBI Director James Comey has again defied the official White House line on policing and the Black Lives Matter movement. The narrative that policing is biased and violent and unfair is resulting in more dead young black men, Mr. Comey warned in an Oct. 16 address to the International Association of Chiefs of Police in San Diego. That narrative, he added, also threatens the future of policing.
Mr. Comey has spoken out before. In October 2015, after he observed that rising violent crime was likely the result of officers backing off proactive policing, President Obama obliquely accused the FBI director of cherry-pick[ing] data and feed[ing] political agendas.
But as much as Mr. Obama has tried to dismiss the violent crime increase that began after the 2014 fatal police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., the data are clear.
Last years 12% increase in homicides reported to the FBI is the largest one-year homicide increase in nearly half a century. The primary victims have been black. An additional 900 black males were killed last year compared with the previous year, resulting in a homicide victimization rate that is now nine times greater for black males than for white males, according to a Guardian study. The brutality of these killings can be shocking. Over the weekend of Sept. 16, a 15-year-old boy in Chicago was burned alive in a dumpster.
More police are being killed this year too. Gun murders of police officers are up 47% nationally through Oct. 21, compared with the same period the previous year. In Chicago gun assaults on officers are up 100%. In New York City attacks on officers are up 23%. In the last two weeks, four California officers have been deliberately murdered.
No government agency is more dedicated to the proposition that black lives matter than the police. If the next administration continues to disregard that truth in favor of a false narrative about systemic law-enforcement racism, the next four years will see more urban violence and race riots, and more dead cops.

Friend of mine on facebook just posted asking for prayers. Her cousin and wife were killed by this guy (she called it “in a rampage”), but not in a car ... at their home?
