Terry McAuliffe, an influential Democrat with longstanding ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton, gave nearly $500,000 to the election campaign of the wife of an official at the Federal Bureau of Investigation who later helped oversee the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s email use.
Campaign finance records show Mr. McAuliffe’s political-action committee donated $467,500 to the 2015 state Senate campaign of Dr. Jill McCabe, who is married to Andrew McCabe, now the deputy director of the FBI.
The Virginia Democratic Party, over which Mr. McAuliffe exerts considerable control, donated an additional $207,788 worth of support to Dr. McCabe’s campaign in the form of mailers, according to the records. That adds up to slightly more than $675,000 to her candidacy from entities either directly under Mr. McAuliffe’s control or strongly influenced by him. The figure represents more than a third of all the campaign funds Dr. McCabe raised in the effort.
Mr. McAuliffe and other state party leaders recruited Dr. McCabe to run, according to party officials. She lost the election to incumbent Republican Dick Black.

In 1993, 80 people and 22 kids died in this FBI fire with ambulances and fire crews kept away. While filming, they then raised the flag of the ATF on the still-smoking embers. No one from the FBI faced any punishment.
Imagine it had been a mosque --would the consequences have been less, the same, or more severe..?

Many years ago, I reported to the head of the FBI’s Washington Field Office while doing undercover work for them. The head was a gentleman of immense honor and integrity.
As he took me in the door (the old Washington Post Office building, now Trump’s new hotel), he sadly showed me two photographs of 2 FBI agents who had recently been shot-down in the line of duty, including the first Black agent.
You could see the pain in his face. They were his men who he revered.
Today, I can’t trust any FBI leader esp. at FBI headquarters. Comey, like a rotten apple, has spoiled the barrel, poisoned the well of public support, and has acted in a disgraceful and unethical manner.
I also knew several other very famous FBI leaders over the years, and today, I can’t find anyone like them. I know that there are honorable and professional agents out there, but they have been stabbed in the back by their politically corrupt leaders.
I wish they would all quit next week and come out for Trump, if only to stick a finger in Comey’s eye and say, “Payback’s a bitch, you bastard”.
Way past time to hit the reset button.

Crony McAuliffe’s people underwrite a local state race for around $500K. The candidate is the wife of the FBI agent that ends up being one of those in charge of the Clinton e-mail investigation.
That’s just vile and disgusting.
But of course, it won’t be a big deal to the in-the-pocket Clinton media establishment.
