Agreed. I have no issue with a business owner doing the things they have to do. And sometimes, these things are rough on an employee. But there are far too many out there these days who truly think of the employees as some sort of plaything for mind games.
I cannot see how they cannot understand what recruiting good people, and treating them with a modicum of respect might do for their business.

I do believe that Steve Jobs started this lunatic trend of Silicon Valley bosses messing with employees and turning their company into a name brand cult that overworks employees while subjecting them to emotional and psychological abuse.
