For decades, many Catholics have believed that the Democratic Party is their friend and ally. And at one time it was so, but apparently things have changed. Now we know that not only is the Democratic Party no longer an ally of the Catholic Church, but the party leadership is working to be the Church's saboteur. Catholic ping!

HRC may be the most potentially dangerous presidential candidate in our country’s history. I pray that we don’t have to find out for certain.

the Democratic Party no longer an ally of the Catholic Church, Hasn't been an ally of the Catholic Church for nearly eighty years now, it was just capable of finding Judas goats like John Courtney Murry and Theodore Hesburgh who would keep the Catholic sheep calm and focused how wonderful it was to be where the fields were green and the livin' was easy.
Fulton Sheen saw what was going on and said the laity had to get busy straightening out the religious, especially Bishops and seminaries. Sorry, Bishop Sheen, the fields were green and the livin' was easy.

All of this just makes my faith stronger.
Funny thing is, if Trump win, it will help the Catholics a lot.
Our current pope’s ideas and ideology will seem backwards and dangerous when Trump shows what a Good Christian and Capitalist nation can achieve.

Unfortunately, virtually all of the Catholics I know (family) are solidly and unquestionably in the Democratic camp. My dad opposed abortion, feminism, affirmative action, and gay marriage (which wasn’t yet even an issue when he died), but was a staunch Democrat and Republican-hater until his death in 2004.
