36,000 Times Watergate, 100,000 times Nixon's Plumbers

Put things in perspective people!!!

Richard Nixon destroyed 15 seconds of tape, the tapes were his personal property, not official government records numbering in the tens of thousands and subject to protection under federal records law.

Nixon's plumbers awkwardly botched a break-in. Hillary's plumbers by their own admission have organized multiple disruptions of free speech and free elections, and are paid and embedded inside her campaign and and the Democratic National Committee.

A majority of voters say Hillary Clinton should have been indicted over her handling of emails and destruction of multiple government computers, hard drives and hand-held devices.

Hillary Clinton must RESIGN immediately as her party's candidate, the party must be investigated for massive election fraud.

Watergate was a John Dean operation from the very beginning.

He wanted to steal the DNC’s “Black Book” of call girls used for their entertainment purposes.

Why?

It included the name of his future wife.

When the investigation got close to him, he turned and gave-up Nixon’s money raising campaigns.

Actually I think it was a 7 minute gap of tape that was the thrust for obstruction of justice BUT that pales in comparison of destruction of 33,000 emails off of a rogue non-Govt server that also had classified Information on it.

Isn’t Daniel Elsberg and his whistleblower book, The Pentagon Papers, which showed they were lying to us about the war in Veitnam the same as Wkikileaks today. Asante actually should get a Pulitzer Prize as he is the modern age Woodward & Berstein. Back when investigative journalism flourished but now has eroded to pure Bagdad Bob propaganda. Robbie Mook handing Andrea Mitchel the phone and letting her get first shot at a question was a smoking gun for me. Makes me sick

I believe it was reported as about 19 minutes of tape. And Nixon’s brother got a $200,000 shady loan from Howard Hughes.

But keep it in perspective, Clinton’s brother got a gold mine in Haiti. And she wasn’t even the President when she made that deal.

The deleted emails and their content, the security breach, all bad and yet all just a sliver of the corruption. The server was set up specifically to ‘keep her secrets private while giving America’s secrets away’. It ensnared the President (by hook or by crook), and one reason for its setup was to prevent FOIA requests, Congress, the IG, and even the President from seeing the magnitude of self-dealing and corruption, including pay to play, by using high office to solicit billions of dollars in private slush funds from the most corrupt and brutal people in the world, all in the name of charity, and to use those funds among other reasons to reward fealty.

Why has the mideast been set ablaze? Why are there now a million ‘refugees’, why now years after our military involvement has ended in the region? Why are there war drums with Russia? Why did we allow Russia its first mideast toehold since Carter ran them off with the Camp David deal? Why is there now an axis of power stemming from Tehran to Damascus to Moscow? Why was it so expedient to send Iran $1.4 billion in cash, after loosening sanctions? Why did the Iran nuke deal not include requirement to end support for terrorists and rebel groups? Why is the State Dept missing $6 billion it cannot account for and nobody seems to care? It is because these corrupt people either profit by it, or were so busy scheming for every possible dollar that they had no time left to honor their duty to the country.

Nixon used government resources to install and service his recording devices and you consider it ‘his’ property?

Yes, you are absolutely correct. Assange should get a Pulitzer Prize for his investigative work. Slim chance though.

In fact, Woodward and Bernstein were merely tools of Felt (Deep Throat) who was also trying to take Nixon down for personal reasons. Groomed by Hoover who was by then dead, Felt was miffed that Nixon did not appoint him the head of the FBI.

The best book on Watergate l,ve read is ‘WATERGATE AMENDMENT’ by John Fitzgerald. It’s an eye opener.

Splendid analysis. The comparisons to Watergate is something that needs to be exploited because it shows the utter hypocrisy of the Left.

I remember the Watergate era and the hearings. They went on forever. The news media had us believing Nixon was a monster. Now I see we were all scammed.

A funny anecdote: A rare treat, a few years ago I was invited to Disneyland Club 33. For those who don’t know, look it up it’s full of lore. But in short it is a private members-only club that serves a full service meal on fine China, and is the only place in the park that serves alcohol. Supposedly it was originally set up as a club for executives of the corporate sponsors who helped finance building the park (but there are a lot of legends not all of them are true). It was a real treat to get in.

Anyway, one thing Walt wanted was for this club to have the best service of any restaurant in the world. So I took some time to talk with the host/manager about the club’s history and decor, and one of the things she told me was that Walt had originally installed microphones in many of the items of decor in the dining room. She specifically pointed out a stuffed bird mounted on the wall by our table as one place a mic used to be hidden. Walt did this, so the story goes, purely to deliver exemplary service. So if you are sitting at the table and say to your table mate something like “oh I just dropped my fork under the table”, someone inside a listening room would hear this and send a waiter over with a new fork before you would even have a chance to flag down a waiter to ask for one.

So the legend goes that Nixon was eating in Club 33 when he learned about the hidden microphones, and that is how he got the idea to install microphones in the Oval Office.

True or not, I don’t think we’ll ever know. But an interesting aside to me, anyway.
