I agree completely but I don’t see how those of our part could have taken it more seriously. None of those who should have cared were interested for some (probably crooked) reason I can’t fathom.

Obama was determined to give the internet away. Obama is trying to do as much damage to this country as possible before he leaves office and this is just part of it.

Obama was born sown into a sack of hate.

Well, many threads were posted— I posted probably a dozen threads or more imploring people to contact talk radio, their representatives, Senators, etc. I know some did, and I was sooo appreciative...

However, there were people who actually posted they thought the whole thing was hyperbole, the internet should go down because it is a vehicle for porn, let it go down and we will build a new, better one, Trump will fix it, and so on...The day after the transfer, they posted...”Internet is still here,” etc.

Very disappointing and surprising...I wish I knew how many actually responded to the call for action...

I think a combination of normalcy bias and full schedules contributed to the inertia—plus the media totally ignored the issue :(

Yes, barry was determined, and now we can see why. However, if the outcry from We the People had been deafening, we might have been able to stop it again for a third time as they (the critters) are up for re-election and slightly more inclined to listen.

Sooo now we have outages, shutdowns, and threads setting up contingency plans...I guess this is the new normal.
