Watching the polls is just one part of avoiding vote fraud. The other part has to do with how the votes are counted, and the vulnerability of electronic voting.

My suggestion for electronic voting is that everyone who votes has a random number generated and associated with their vote, and they get a copy of this number at the time they vote. Each voting location in the US would have its own ‘zip code’ type of prefix to the randomly generated number, so that any duplicate numbers that are generated nationally can be sorted out on the basis of location. Then, all of the numbers, and the vote that was cast using that number are made available online nationally in a searchable database. So anyone can look up their number and make sure that the vote associated with it was the one they actually cast. Also, if the totals of candidate A vs B don’t add up as the same that is reported, you would have proof of tampering.

Your suggestions to secure the vote are great - but your problem is that the other team doesn't WANT a secure vote, and in fact has spent 50 years making sure that the vote in NOT secure.

On the cusp of their final victory, you don't seriously think they are going to give up now, do you?

Your idea sounds nice but it’s impossible to cross check the entire population of votes. Unless you make it mandatory to release all those “ random numbers” from everybody, which does away with the secret ballot. Why secret ballots in the first place?

Voting should be public. Nothing in gubmint, except military, should be secret.
