I hate early voting. No reason for it and only makes it easier for dishonest poll workers to commit voting fraud. What’s to stop them from trashing or changing votes? Or stuffing ballot boxes with phony ballots?
Is it too much to ask of people to just go to the polls on Election Day?
Since they know which are repub and dem ballots...not a damn thing stopping them from tossing Repub ballots....and that IS what I think they do.

I’m 74 and have done early voting for several years. My knees wont allow me to stand for long periods.
A compromise might be to only permit early voting for voters over 65; or disabled; or required to be elsewhere due to job, scheduled surgery, etc., on election day.
Life’s curve balls made me a fan of early voting under GWB. We took advantage of it. On Election Day I was burying my husband who died of a massive heart attack, and those who attended his funeral from out of state missed voting. You could be stuck in the hospital also or dead. His vote was countable as was mine I would not have been able to cast.
I will early vote tomorrow for those reasons.
Your comments are worth repeating.
