A 19-year-old from Paragould, Arkansas is in critical condition after a shooting at Cloud 9 Ranch Saturday night in Caulfield, Missouri.
Cloud Nine Ranch provides family camping with ATV trails.
The Ozark County Sheriff says six people witnessed Logan Rosewell playing around with a gun earlier in the day.
They say Rosewell pulled a bullet out of his pocket, rolled the chamber and said, Watch this.
The bullet went into his temple.
The gun used in the shooting was an Aussie 38 revolver.
Rosewell was taken to Ozarks Medical Center and later transferred to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Oddly enough, he apparently did not say "Hold my beer."
Just chlorinating the gene pool...
Stupid games, stupid prizes.
Congratulations, Mr. Rosewell, you’ve won a bullet in your brain!
You gun folk, how many bullets does it hold?
Pretty unlucky to pull the trigger once and blow your head apart.
The average .38 revolver holds six cartridges, a small one, five, certain ones seven. The nice thing about Russian roulette is that the player usually doesn’t have any brains to blow out...
Yeah, but he also gave the trauma team at Ozarks Medical Center a nice clean case to work on. Single injury, underlying health good.
Undersized brain, but that would make things easier, I should think.
Oddly enough, he apparently did not say “Hold my beer.”

They left that out so he wouldn’t get in ‘trouble’ for underage drinking.....
True!! I’m pretty sure even in my wildest days I would have passed on this “game”
For 10 million? At 48, with a 6 shooter, i’d roll the dice :)
I wonder what qualifies as an “Aussie” revolver.
Is it one used in Australia?

Aussie 38 revolver. A google look shows a .38 S&W Victory model. Whether this is the type I am not sure.
Reminds me of a Mexican movie with Emelio Fernandez and Pedro Armendarez. They are having a Russian Roulette contest and the last bullet goes to Armendarez. It is a misfire.
While they are laughing about his good luck, another man picks up the revolver, spins the cylinder and proceeds to kill himself with the same bullet.
That’s what John Podesta wants you to believe.
Enfield?
I’m thinking a typo, or being a “journalist” knowing nothing about guns, it’s a Rossi.
More reasonable than a Victory model or some of the Model 10’s Smith exported to Australia.
I really don’t know.
But ‘they’ do seem to make up words as well as stories so hard telling what is on their feeble minds..
Like that ‘sweetheart’ that Aldred marched up.
She was READING her statement/recollection of D ‘groping’ her 30 years ago.
Maybe the ‘world’ is ‘different’ now but if I were the accuser -Right or Wrong- I would be able to show enough righteous indignation and damn sure would not have to READ.
Of course you would have to be a ‘victim’ to have the memory scorched in your head....
You win. Good spot of an almost homophone mistaken by an poorly informed reporter!
IIRC, the secret to surviving Russian Roulette is to spin the cylinder then as the revolver is pointed at one’s head to glance at the cylinder face. If the chamber that is up next does not have a bullet in it, then nothing will happen.
If it does, find an excuse to spin again.
OBTW, Colt’s revolvers and Smith & Wessons revolve in opposite directions. Failure to note this difference has sometimes proven fatal.
