Yes, you are misreading this.
The question was whether the campaign should accept money from, or bundled by, people that were registered as agents/lobbyists for foreign countries/interests.
The money is not coming from the foreign country/interest. The issue is whether it would look bad because the person in question was a FRA, now or in the past.
Nothing illegal about it. It would just look bad if it was a repressive regime. In the end, they decided to just weather the storm if it came up. Most people wouldn't care, unless the candidate was Trump.
If anything Romneycare hurt him with the base. I know it did for me.
I did not like Romney but, for the most part, that guy was clean as a whistle. I honestly couldn’t believe it. He looks like a creep to me.

I hear ya, and that’s what makes me wonder. I think more than ever, the Red will go Red and the Blue will go Blue.
It’s the swing states that matter, and if he can grab NV, FL, and OH, then he just may pull it off.
