The EU already made clear that they don’t want Scotland or Northern Ireland because neither region would contribute to the EU. Currently both regions take in huge amounts of subsidies and they fear losing their fat welfare checks so they want to be in the EU if the UK leaves.

They’re also making the mistake of estimating that England and Wales need to hang on to Scotland and Northern Ireland. They don’t.

If the Protestants in Northern Ireland want to join the EU then the UK can retaliate by negotiating the reunification of Ireland and telling all those secessionist Protestants that they’re going to be a minority in Catholic Ireland.

With the Scots the payback will come when the English cut them off from the Pound and when the Royal Navy and the rest of the UK forces pull their equipment, personnel (and payroll), and bases back into England.

Then once the Scots get their socialist paradise in place the Brits will need to do some fixing on Hadrian’s Wall to keep out all of the inevitable refugees who’ll be fleeing the new Venezuela in search of a British welfare payment.

Silly Scots. Nobody wants you.

I hear Northern Ireland is the only place where Brits are allowed to have firearms. They will need it if it goes to EU
