Critics of Venezuelas socialist administration are denouncing as undemocratic a move to bypass Congress role in approving the countrys budget.
The South American countrys top court ruled on Wednesday that it could approve President Nicolas Maduros budget instead of the opposition-controlled Congress. The court has systematically dismantled Congress power after the opposition took control of the body in January.

In the U.S. Constitution the House decides the courts and how they are constituted. In Venezuela, the courts and Maduro decide.
