I remember, during the Clinton admin, two or three people being shot in Washington or Oregon.
Bill immediately called for MORE GUN CONTROL to stop such things.
Meanwhile, at the same time, down in Arkansas, two people were kidnapped, taken to Missouri, and had their throats cut.
No mention of it by Bill. The FBI had a suspect, sent in some WRAPPED money with orders to check the WRAPPING for HIS fingerprints. The FBI then stripped off the wrapping and discarded it, and instead checked the money, ruining the evidence so the suspect WALKED.
Then there was the time Bill Clinton was at a fund raiser for bullet proof vests for officers and called for more gun control. His guest was a woman who had just lost her police husband.
Bill declared that he would still be alive if he had a vest!
He was then informed the police husband had died in a car wreck.
Down in Arkansas again, Ronald Gene Simmons murdered sixteen people. He strangled and drowned half of them and shot the others with a Ruger single action .22 revolver.
The Brady center immediately called for MORE GUN CONTROL because of the shootings. No mention was made of those drowned and strangled. They have been forgotten.
In the world of Gun control, people forget quick how others died, so they will call for more gun control after a stabbing, vehicular homicide, and other non-firearm murders.
