Obama legacy: Most red tape, regulations ever

President Obama has implemented more costly rules and swamped America with more federal red tape than any other administration, and now he has set another regulatory record: his team has filled 70,000 pages in the Federal Register faster than any other president.

Team Obama crossed the 70,000-page mark this week and is on schedule to print seven of the fattest eight Federal Registers in history, according to a new analysis from the Competitive Enterprise Institute's Vice President of Policy Clyde Wayne Crews.

"Let's put this in some perspective," said Crews in the report provided to Secrets.

"The day after Columbus Day, the 70,000-page line was crossed earlier than ever, with the print edition of today's October 11, 2016 Federal Register hitting 70,318 pages," he said. "The all-time record-high Federal Register was 81,405 pages in 2010. In fact, six of the seven all-time high federal register page counts have happened under the Barack Obama administration."

CEI has projected that the 2016 total in the Federal Register will be a record-setting 89,416 pages.

Does anyone remember the paperwork reduction act under Reagan?

If Trump would appoint someone who could say no to a lot of bureaucrats, that would be a start.

Thank you for referencing that article Perseverando. Please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

Patriots, we really need to stop picking on Obama since he’s arguably just a small part of the real problem.

More specifically, Congress has always had the constitutional authority to not only put a stop to any of Obama’s actions, but also to remove him from office, but has stubbornly refused to do so.

Consider that corrupt Congress has been using lawless Obama as its “useful idiot,” letting Obama get away with stealing legislative branch powers, including stealing 10th Amendment-protected state powers, so that Obama can do all the unpopular and unconstitutional things that Congress probably wants to do.

In other words, by letting last-term Obama get away with doing Congress’s dirty work for it, corrupt lawmakers are able to keep their voting records clean so that they can fool low-information patriots into reelecting them. (Patriots need to iron the wrinkles out of the 22nd Amendment.)

Remember in November !

Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision for making America great again for everybody, but will also put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes and likewise unconstitutional federal interference in state affairs as evidenced by many of Obama’s unconstitutional actions.

Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
