The certain thing is that electricity will get more expensive, faster. That is the one effect that the California policy, which is the DOE/EPA model for the country, has had on California rates.
If a policy difference can be reduced to straight $ comparisons, this is it.
TX residential -@ 11 cents/kwh average
CA residential -@ 18 cents/kwh average - and this is going to increase, rapidly.

This is what they want to do to you.

“Climate” has become the new religion of the left.

Yep.
Elect Hillary, the world economy will crash, no more production, no more smoke stacks, billions of people will freeze, starve and die.
The climate will still get hotter, or colder, or whatever it was going to do anyway but no one will be around to "do" anything about it anymore.

Hillary is a better choice for combatting global warming?

How much heat energy is released by the average 70 kiloton nuclear fission reaction?

Al Gore’s electric bill runs around $30,000 a year...

Water dumped in his poor to replace the stuff that evaporates because he’s too cheap to buy a pool cage is an abomination considering the low low low flush toilets he forces on the rest of us...

Gore and Hillary are vile...

On the long, long list of reasons that Hillary Clinton would be a far better president than Donald Trump

Is a list with zero entries really a list?

Here is what I never understand.

We’re told by the liberals that we have global warming and all that. We have to cut back our emissions, etc.

But, the time of man on earth has been very brief in all of earth’s history. There have been numerous cycles of warming and cooling in earth’s history. There have been numerous ice ages in earth’s history.

Every single ice age ended, due to periods of global warming. Chicago was buried under a mile of ice during the last ice age. How did all that ice melt??? It was due to NATURAL cycles of global warming, not due to the activities of man.

Cro-Magnon man and Neanderthals didn’t have coal fired power plants or sport utility vehicles.

So, in my person opinion, it’s hard for me to get on board with all this global warming hysteria. Unless the liberals can explain to me, how so many ice ages and periods of warming, such as when Greenland was truly a green land, happened without being caused by man, I have to conclude that they are full of it.

“On the long, long list of reasons that Hillary Clinton would be a far better president”

They are only alleged to be reasons. There can be no good enough reason. Making the case for Hillary Clinton being the first woman POTUS is as close as it gets and that would probably be the shallowest of “reasons”.

Content likely supplied by the gignormous billionaire A$$WIPE Tom Steyer. His political ads run all the time in Kalifornia.

Thanks for posting this artichokegrower. I see op-eds from sac-bee posted from time to time and they’re all the same - lamebrained foolishness. The amusing thing about them is if you look at the comments you see where much wiser heads are taking them to the woodshed on a regular basis.

I predict that reader comments will soon disappear from the sac-bee soon.

Once more the Sacramento Bee adds it's liberal voice to the hoax, the fraud, the lies and the control freaks of Global Warming.

A worthless member of the media.
