The Nobel Prize is a piece of poop.. But I have the highest respect for Bob Dylan’s songwriting and his performances. Glad to see a good guy win a Nobel for a change, even though previous “winners” render the whole Nobel prize thing rather meaningless.

Maybe Bob finds a suitable place to display it at home.

I always like his song “Girl From The North Country” and he did it best with the late Johnny Cash. Also he did a song about Israel called “The Neighborhood Bully”.

I saw him recently, and among the many artifacts he had up on stage with him was an Academy award he won many years ago. I assume he'll take the Nobel with him and display it on the road in the future.

I also assume, while being too lazy to fact-check it, that he's the only person to have won an Oscar and a Nobie.

What ever value was associated with the Nobel Prize for Peace went out the window when it was awarded to Yassir Arafart for his fake Peace Process with Israel in 1993.

Add Bishop Desmond Tutu, the ANC channeler in South Africa.

Add Barak Obama getting it too for...absolutely nothing and you then begin to see where this is going.

Dylan deserves high honors but not necessarily this award. The world is upside down.

Singular? It appears that you are conflating the Peace Prize awarded by the Norwegians with the original Chemistry, Literature, Physics, and Medicine prizes Economics added much later) awarded by the Swedes.

Tut tut, tsk tsk.

If the Swedes were going to go off the reservation (as the Norwegians do regularly with the NPP), so to speak, I am glad they chose Dylan.
