Take me disappearing through the smoke rings of my mind
Down the foggy ruins of time
Far past the frozen leaves
The haunted frightened trees
Out to the windy bench
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky
With one hand waving free
Silhouetted by the sea
Circled by the circus sands
With all memory and fate
Driven deep beneath the waves
Let me forget about today until tomorrow

Someone’s got it in for me
They’re planting stories in the press
Whoever it is I wish they’d cut it out quick
But when they will I can only guess
They say I shot a man named Gray
And took his wife to Italy
She inherited a million bucks
And when she died it came to me
I can’t help it if I’m lucky

That, and Watchtower, are my favorite Dylan works.Tambourine Man,done by the Byrds *and* Judy Collins are just about my two favorite songs of all time.Watchtower, done by Hendrix,is also near the top of my list.Check out my post above regarding Tambourine Man.Maybe you and I,together, could help my nephew on that one.
