I saw a great comment a while back (can't remember where) on the subject of the extremes of Islam and how they affect more reasonable religions and cultures. The gist of the comment was that Satan couldn't have devised a better scheme to hobble Christianity or Western Culture than Islam, not just for its relentless aggression, but because Islam takes reasonable standards to an extreme, tricking people to reject not the extremism, but the standard, itself.

For example, it was once common sense that young girls were taught to dress at least somewhat modestly in order not to be perceived as women of low quality and standards. Nobody questioned this because it was purely logical and reasonable. Now, however, thanks to Islam's extremes, like making women wear burkhas, if you tell a young girl dressed like a whore that perhaps she should put something else on, she and her supporters spit out "Oh, you just want her in a burkha, just like the Taliban!!!" If you tell that same girl not to go to the bad side of town at night unprotected, they spit out "You don't want women to go anywhere without a male escort, just like the Taliban!!!" and on and on.

Reasonable standards which were the bedrock of Western Civilization are now discredited by the proximity of Islam and its twisted versions, and, in fact, the evil of Islam is used to discredit religion in general, especially Christianity, in the minds of the gullible. Now, any moral standards are "just like the Taliban!!!!!!!!" and any time a Muslim kills and terrorizes, the enemies of Western Culture say "See????? Religion is bad!!!!"

I wonder sometimes if that isn't one of the reason that so many Muslims are being brought into the West by the globalists - to discredit all reasonable moral and cultural standards and leave the people with nothing to hold onto.
