MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A woman is behind bars on a list of charges for running over a crowd that left several people injured including two one-year-old children.

Sharita Oliver is being held on a $3 million bond for several charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault.

She is expected in court this morning on those charges.

Police say Oliver turned herself in late Monday, two days after the incident was caught on camera, and posted on social media.

In the video, you can see a car plow into a crowd in North Memphis.

One of the youngest victims, one-year-old Rekevia Stevens remains in the hospital in intensive care.

Family members say her condition has worsened.

There were at least four other victims from that incident, including one-year-old Markel Franklin who was released from the hospital Monday

Memphis?

I assume this was a BLM event blocking the road. If so, I’d use the “remember Reginald Denny” defense. Though the “hit and run” part will have to stick at some level.

This is assuming a case can be made that a reasonable person would fear for their safety.

If it was just a kid in the road, never mind.

If you’ve ever driven in Memphis which is 83% black, you’d know that black lives don’t matter to any of the drivers.

"This is assuming a case can be made that a reasonable person would fear for their safety."

I think this is going to be a case of rage, not self protection.

Yeah. On our last trip from Seattle when we moved to KY we drove through Memphis. We even went by Graceland.

Of all the cities we’ve been through (even Detroit), that was by far the most disgusting and “dangerous feeling” place we ever experienced. We’ll NEVER go back there.

Sharita done been running over Rekevia?

I wonder what be the demographics of the neighborhood. And if Sharia law will be applied to Sharita.

True you see last nights news 7 shootings in 24 hrs. All different locations in Memphis. It’s called the Crime Capitol of Tennessee. And if you check the recidivism report blacks do 6 months less time than whites. The Penal Farm which is an 11 month 29 day facility, they serve 90, many on the weekends. Recidivism is 85%, many have as many as 30-60 felony offenses, many committed while out on bail.
