I should have added that I'm a Catholic myself, so I know what I speak of.

Here's a list of the ten U.S. states with the highest Catholic populations as a proportion of the overall population:

Rhode Island
New Jersey
Massachusetts
Connecticut
New York
New Mexico
California
Wisconsin
Illinois
Pennsylvania

And here is a list of the ten U.S. states with the lowest Catholic populations (again, proportionally):

Mississippi
Alabama
Tennessee
Arkansas
West Virginia
South Carolina
Oklahoma
Utah
Georgia
North Carolina

Notice a trend here? The political side of this is obvious: The radical jug-eared Kenyan exchange student in the White House won all ten of the heavily Catholic states on this list, and lost almost all of the least Catholic states.

Let's go beyond mere politics, though. It's very telling to me that the most destructive and diabolical social/moral scourges this country has accepted -- including abortion and homosexual "marriage" -- have their origins and their strongest roots in the most heavily Catholic states.

Go figure.

Yes, voting Republican = salvation. But where did you get the idea that Republicans are anti-abortion, anti-homo or anything like that? In fact who in their right mind would even vote for the Republican party, except out of spite?
