The fact-checkers keep destroying fact-checking (Trump was right Hillary lied)

Then there was this exchange: TRUMP: First of all, she was there as secretary of state with the so-called line in the sand, which... CLINTON: No, I wasn't. I was gone. I hate to interrupt you, but at some point, at some point, we need to do some fact-checking here. Trump was talking about Aug. 20, 2012, when President Obama said the "Red Line" which Syria's Assad must not cross, is the movement or use of chemical weapons. You may note that Hillary Clinton was, in fact, the secretary of state that day, as NBC notes. So Hillary Clinton was dead wrong, trying to exculpate herself from a possibly destructive instance of foreign policy incompetence (for what it's worth, I put all the blame on Obama here, because he blurted out the "Red Line" answer). But our media, obsessed with finding false equivalence, needs to find Trump at fault too.

She asked for the fact checkers to get bush.....sounded good at the time ...but today she lied. How many people who saw and heard her lie last night know the truth today.

The Lincoln Lie - even she looked down and laughed at that whopper. Great memory she has

Unless she's being interrogated by the cops - then - - "who?" what? Me? "

She brags of 30 years of service.

Wasn’t there for the red line in the sand.

Wasn’t there for Benghazi.

At one point he rattled off a number of issues where she screwed up. I knew them to be true. She dismissed it all by saying he was just lying.

He wasn’t.

A good portion of it is stuff everyone knows about.

She didn’t do herself any favors last night.

She proved she doesn’t have answer to explain why she did things that were wrong.

How anyone could say she won last night is beyond me. It’s all they have though. She says he lied when he didn’t. They say she won when she didn’t.

The public is going to make this call.

Wasn’t there for the 3am phone call on 9/11/12 either. How convenient.

In about 4 weeks from tomorrow, Hillary Clinton is going to get beat worse than anyone in Presidential Election History. All the credible ONLINE polls overwhelmingly confirm this fact almost daily.

The best thing Hillary could do for Hillary is to avoid that historically embarrassing a loss that she knows in her cold, sick heart is coming by stepping aside under whatever excuse she prefers to use and let Kaine take the drubbing or ass whupping if you prefer.

At least she can go into the litigation until she dies mode, or jail, withour the The Biggest Loser ever tattoo forever burned into her forehead.

She can’t recall anything to do with her email and private server or if she was ever given a security briefing in 2009 but she can “remember” that date and the specifics of the “red line”.

Turns out she doesn’t know that she was still SoS at the time. Maybe there is something to her memory loss after all. She completely blanks out on any of her actions with respect to her time as Secretary. Probably explains why she doesn’t remember telling the families of the Benghazi 4 that a they died because of a video...

Her whole time as Secy of State she was mentally “not there”. Her mind was always on her own agenda.

Fox News is all over the NBC/Wall St. Journal poll that Hillary leads Trump by 11%. Of course, this was taken on Saturday after every news outlet was frothing at the mouth because Trump said the P-word. There aren’t any polls out yet taken after last night’s triumph over the sleazy slut. If it’s close, Fox News won’t spend much time reporting it.

During the debate, Martha Raddatz asked:

Diane from Pennsylvania asks If you were president, what would you do about Syria and the humanitarian crisis in Aleppo? Isn’t is a lot like wasn't it like the Holocaust when the U.S. waited too long before we helped? Secretary Clinton, we will begin with your two minutes.

Wasn't it true that the Americans were largely unaware of the Holocaust while it was going on until we got into the German heartland and found the death camps?

Wouldn't a more appropriate comparison be the Rwanda genocide of the Tutsis by the majority Hutus in 1994?

Oh, that's right... Bill Clinton knew about the Hutu plans to wipe out the Tutsis, but refused to intervene because he feared a repeat of his defeat at Mogadishu in Somalia.

How can they state Trump is also false, when he said: First of all, she was there as secretary of state with the so-called line in the sand,

Even when they prove that she was secretary of state at that time. He never said she was responsible for it. He said she was there.

Major fail Beacon, even though you provided the evidence that proves Clinton was wrong, you wrongly include Trump as well.

Speaking of HRC lies, there is one last lie by the Witch near the end of the debate where I think I heard her say that the US is energy independent currently. (She then followed it by introducing "global warming.")

Can someone please corroborate that she said that? It hasn't been mentioned in the media, to the best of my knowledge. But it is obviously important because to erroneously think that the US is energy independent serves as a starting point for policies inhibiting domestic fossil fuel development and overemphasizing "clean energy," resulting in domestic job losses.

CLINTON: And actually — well, that was very interesting. First of all, China is illegally dumping steel in the United States and Donald Trump is buying it to build his buildings, putting steelworkers and American steel plants out of business. That’s something that I fought against as a senator and that I would have a trade prosecutor to make sure that we don’t get taken advantage of by China on steel or anything else.

You know, because it sounds like you’re in the business or you’re aware of people in the business — you know that we are now for the first time ever energy-independent. We are not dependent upon the Middle East. But the Middle East still controls a lot of the prices. So the price of oil has been way down. And that has had a damaging effect on a lot of the oil companies, right? We are, however, producing a lot of natural gas, which serves as a bridge to more renewable fuels. And I think that’s an important transition.

We’ve got to remain energy-independent. It gives us much more power and freedom than to be worried about what goes on in the Middle East. We have enough worries over there without having to worry about that.

So I have a comprehensive energy policy, but it really does include fighting climate change, because I think that is a serious problem. And I support moving toward more clean, renewable energy as quickly as we can, because I think we can be the 21st century clean energy superpower and create millions of new jobs and businesses.

But I also want to be sure that we don’t leave people behind. That’s why I’m the only candidate from the very beginning of this campaign who had a plan to help us revitalize coal country, because those coal miners and their fathers and their grandfathers, they dug that coal out. A lot of them lost their lives. They were injured, but they turned the lights on and they powered their factories. I don’t want to walk away from them. So we’ve got to do something for them.

Thanks for that post, DoughtyOne.

When you read through that transcript, you have to laugh.

I don't know if Trump is buying Chinese steel. But at least he's employing American workers to build his buildings. He contributes much more to the economy than the Witch ever did. (BTW, she doubled down on the "Chinese steel" charge in her shrill and loud speech in Detroit today.)

Yes, she did say that the US is energy independent. I know that is blatantly false, because, for one, domestic oil and natural gas is not being produced at anywhere near capacity. And even if it were true, it wouldn't be "the first time ever" we were energy independent. I think we were energy independent from the late 19th century through a good deal of the 20th.

"Fighting climate change"? Well, that's insane, to think that if there is significant climate change, humans have the capacity to stop it.

And her "plan to ... revitalize the coal industry"? LOL!!! She's already said that she wants to end the coal industry, hasn't she?
