These shocking images show how prisoners are starving to death in Venezuela's jails as food and medicine continues to run out amid economic collapse in the country.

I’m sorry, I don’t understand why people are letting this go on. Maduro may be an imbecile, but he’s just one person. How can the army, etc. let their country collapse like this?
It’s past time for Venezuela to have a Bastille moment. But it takes a lot of screwing up to motivate an unarmed society.
Well, there’s no toilet paper anyway. Might as well starve.
The army is largely composed of conscripts with a 6th grade education and a small cadre of hard-bitten officers. Discipline down there is also much worse than a drill sergeant screaming at you. It takes things hitting rock bottom for the army to either take action because the officers are staunchly loyal and probably getting back-door supplies from the regime.
We have a sanction on the country of Venezuela. That is why no one is helping them.
