Good! The Trump Effect extending into all aspects of American culture.

Nice to see. Really want to see the NFL crumble.

Or, of course, change.

Well, I confess that did tune in a little to watch the Lions nearly pee away a big halftime lead but then salvage it with the field goal and then the interception in the last minute.

I have not watched one game this season. Many owners, players, and coaches are getting nervous, but they are afraid to speak out. The NFL front office and media will label them as “racists” if they do.

I am a die-hard Cowboys fan!

But, I have only watched about three quarters of ONE game this year. I have too much stuff to do that is much more important than watching football - PERIOD!

I was visiting the majority of my grand-kids this weekend, and didn’t get on the road back home until after the game started. And even though I had a three hour drive, I only listened to about half of the game.

This is why I think if Trump wins, I would not be surprised that Roger Goodell resigns before the owner posse shows up and pushes him out.

NFL Week 5 Ratings - TNF AZ vs SF - Ratings down 22%

Aside from being a League composed of mostly rich thugs with a pi$$ poor commissioner, the NFL is suffering from overexposure -- Thursday Night, All day Sunday, Sunday Night, Monday Night. Too much, and I love football.

Well, that’s a surprise. Who would have guessed that starting all NFL games with “We despise your country” would cost them viewers? It’s all about starting a dialogue, and we all know the best way to do that is to insult the person you want to dialogue with.

Not to worry. The 49ers are in the process of restructuring Kaepernick’s contract (likely to reduce the cap hit in future seasons). Once that is done, they’ll start him, resulting in a huge ratings spike for their games. Never mind that the 49ers are going nowhere this season. smh

So far, in the NBA several teams are locking arms during the National Anthem rather than kneeling or sitting. (NY/Brooklyn/Houston & Mark Cuban told his players it was Ok to protest.

Diehard NE Patriots fan but I haven't watched one second of NFL football so far this year - I admit to peeking at the scores and standings online. But not a second of watching the actual football. Unless I happened to be in a sports bar with a game on. And I spend a lot of time in sports bars. Now that's what I call a captive audience. But zero Patriots as they usually have a Jets or Giants game on.

Two factors caused me to essentially boycott the NFL this year. The disrespect allowed to be shown by players for our national anthem and also the four-game suspension of Tom Brady by the pussy-whipped Paul Ryan-like Commissioner.

A pox on the NFL house. Who knew it could come to this? NFL football used to be as American as apple pie. It's been allowed to be ruined.
