I think the most likely outcome of this is not that. I think the most likely outcome is something that was observed in World War I called the Live and let live behavior. Soldiers on both sides during horrific trench warfare would spontaneously (and without actual contact with each other) cease hostilities. They just wouldnt shoot each other. The high commands on both sides, when they discovered it, would order charges to break the bahavior but it happened many times. It's studied in game theory.

So in this case, consider Trump and Hillary as soldiers in a trench and they are lobbing shells at each other. First Hillary thought she could land a death blow. But Trump came back and made it clear that he could and would make it extremely painful for her with his own attacks. At this point they may well ask themselves is "do I really want to getting hammered over this? Is the damage worth it? Or do I let it drop and see what happens on the other side? If he/she stops, I'll move on and feel lucky". Look for both sides to drop the "he's a pervert" attacks, for reasons of self preservation. Or I could be totally wrong. We'll see.
