ASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. Navy guided missile destroyer was targeted on Sunday in a failed missile attack from territory in Yemen controlled by Iran-aligned Houthi rebels, a U.S. military spokesman told Reuters, saying the two missiles failed to hit the ship.
"USS Mason detected two inbound missiles over a 60-minute period while in the Red Sea off the coast of Yemen. Both missiles impacted the water before reaching the ship," Pentagon spokesman Captain Jeff Davis said.
"There were no injuries to our sailors and no damage to the ship," he said.

Personally, I’d like us to take one of these “threats” seriously and show them what the United States Navy can do to their ass. I don’t mean start a war, I mean a good old fashioned punch in the mouth.
Given that it’s a guided missile destroyer, did they hit the launch sites, or is that outside Obama’s ROE?
I think I can guess the answer to that.
Or maybe they think that hillary would win because she has a lot of experience in war.

I was gonna suggest we kick them in the groin so hard it’s all they could taste for a week, but realized it probably isn’t a taste that would be unique to any of these weasels.

More than likely protecting shipping lanes as ships head to and from the Suez Canal. Yemen is at the Southeastern tip of the Arabian Peninsula and is bordered by the Gulf of Aden to the South and Red Sea to the East.
Why weren’t the launch sites destroyed?

If we’re in a war, the Kenyan can declare martial law and postpone the election. He can claim it’s for our own good for him to stay in office a while longer.
