You are right. I remember our health class in high school, the portion where they talked about sex. No one in class was over 15. The teacher passed around slips of paper to fill out with the kids’ sexual experiences anonymously. When he got the slips all back, a few of the girls had engaged in whatever, but 99% of these tiny pimpled boys had had full on intercourse..... RIIIIIIGHT. Boys brag. Period. Especially around other boys. Women are not impressed with a cavalier attitude to women. Boys do it for the other boys.
