The Debate--Will It Cover Hillary's Private Positions, or Just the Public Ones?
CBS News ^ | October 7, 2016 | Juliana Goldman

Potentially problematic excerpts from Hillary Clinton’s paid Wall Street speeches were flagged for her campaign in an email that was sent to chairman John Podesta and other senior staff this past January.

“I mean, politics is like sausage being made,” she said in the speech according to the excerpt. “It is unsavory, and it always has been that way, but we usually end up where we need to be. But if everybody’s watching, you know, all of the back room discussions and the deals, you know, then people get a little nervous, to say the least. So, you need both a public and a private position.”

Debate question: "Hillary, you are quoted as describing your politics as essentially two-faced, having a public position on the one hand and a private position on the other. Do the American people deserve to see a side-by-side comparison of your public and private positions?"

All the stories about the Clinton’s have been around for a long time, nothing new.

Everyone needs to wake up and realize the Clinton’s are suckering all the Trump supporters into talking about anything except issues that matter.

It is a masterful political move by the Clinton’s to distract from Hillary’s liberal and immoral philosophy that she intends to take to the White House.

Think about it - who is in charge of the debate? Who is setting the agenda? The Clinton’s are using the media to decide what we talk about. FR posts are a perfect example of being led by the nose by them.

Trump needs to convince the undecided to ignore the personal and think about borders, Supreme Court, tax reform, security, and jobs.

That’s it, 5 points, no more. Hammer them home, talk about nothing else.

We don't want to see her private positions.

Trust me on this one!

I’d like Trump to ignore Hillary and the “moderators”. Answer the moderators’ questions with “yes”, “no”....and then spend the rest of the time telling the American people what he wants them to know about him and his policies.

Hillary should be treated as dust on his lapel ... referred to as the source of the problems and our past. Dismiss her and talk about his vision for making America safe and prosperous. He is the future.

Understood, but I meant the other kind of private positions.

Her “both a public and a private position” quote is in fact one of her private positions.

Hillary as dust on his lapel sounds good to me.

Actually, I would guess Hillary has not two but at least three categories of positions.

Really ... it does. Ignore her. Shrug her off. She’s the problem, he’s the solution.

Well, ignore her except during the debate and the rest of the campaign, when focusing on her corrupt, two-faced insider policies.

Of course....but dismiss her interruptions, dismiss her “comebacks” as just more of her lies, and ignore her attempts to make this personally about him and goad him off message.

It seems like this is also what most of the advisors would like to see happen.

Hillary can’t win on the issues so she wants to play in the mud - a place where the Clinton’s excel. Instead, stay out of the pigsty and present the plans for the future.

The little effers in the press CHOSE THE QUESTIONS TO BE ASKED - AND ALL OF US HERE KNOW HOW THOSE QUESTIONS WERE CHOSEN:

TO MAKE HILLARY THE WITCH LOOK GOOD AND TO MAKE TRUMP LOOK BAD... BUT THE REAL LOSERS WILL BE THE PRESS. EVERYONE IN THE COUNTRY IS CATCHING ON TO WHO THEY REALLY ARE... WHAT LIARS THEY ARE - AND HOW THEY LIVE IN THE TANK FOR DEMOCRATS WHO FEED THEM STORIES.

Maggie Haberman butt kisser extrodinair... New York Times reporter - working for Hillary...
