If I were offended by what Trump said 11 years ago, why would I suddenly vote for Hillary?

If I didn’t like Hillary before, why would I now support her?

Some of these will turn into half-votes for Clinton by going third party or not at all.

This is why I think Trump could get through it. There’s a lot of time for people to remember why they didn’t like Clinton, or why they preferred a trump in the first place.

Several lib pundits have actually nailed it without realizing what they’re saying. Supporters may be shocked by Trumps words but they shouldn’t be surprised. You know, they’re right. And once the shock wears off, we’ll be back to why we were behind him, many reluctantly so.

Good question.

It’s the media narrative / hope of killing Trump politically with this, but the tricks that worked in the past for the MSM / Uniparty just are not working in this election. I don’t think this October Surprise will work either. In fact, it is more likely backfire with a very pissed-off electorate.
