"many years ago, I actually traded in the futures markets....And I worked with a group of like-minded friends and associates who traded in pork bellies and cotton and other such things, and I did pretty well. I invested about a thousand dollars and traded up to about a hundred thousand."
When the "Futures Trading" scandal broke, Hillary claimed she earned all that money (It WAS a lot of money those days) by reading the newspaper. Now she admits it was advice from "friends". The scuttlebutt all along was that her "friend" received special treatment from Governor Clinton for his "advice". The "advice" was assumed to be cash transfers from the account of the "friend".
Harold “Red” Bone insured her trades were all winners.

Yeah... right, why would you stop there? She could have been a cattle futures tycoon and Bill could have quit his low-paying governor job that forced them to donate their used underwear for the tax deduction.
