He knew this was coming. He knows his own past, and knows someone probably recorded it. His counter-attack plan is detailed.
The statement was pretty good considering the circumstances. Looks like Trump is going to burn it down.
But now is not the time. Perhaps at the debate? Perhaps later in the week.
The people who are undecided know about Clinton and obviously do not care. But they do not “know” Trump and this is going to play to the “he is a misogynist” angle.
Take responsibility, admit you mistake and move on. Real men do not blame others for their errors.
It is not going to change my mind. But this WILL affect those wishy washy women who are undecided. But in the end, who, at this point, is undecided?
And I am not being holier than thou. I am thinking like a marketing guy. And, the folks on FR are not the people he needs to convince.

Dems playing the politics of “yesteryear”. The politics of 2016 are quite different as we have a candidate that is quite different.
Times have changed, the Dems are stuck in the past. A past that has been a disaster for this country.
I look to a bright future, only possible if Trump wins. If he loses our country is OVER! I really believe that.
Look at what has happened in just 8 years of Obama. Can you imagine after 8 years (if she lives that long) of Hillary?
There will be no coming back.
For me, I hope, trust, and pray that Donald Trump hangs in there and keeps up the good fight.
The apology was complete and sufficient.
Do you talk with other “guys” like that? About the woman who is going to be your wife?

I’ve been deeply involved with “behind the scenes” work at college sports for the last 290 years or so. I’ve been in locker rooms and I’ve never heard men talk about their girlfriends or wives like this.
I have referred to him as a petulant preppy rich kid since the begining of the campaign. He proved it with this, relaxed behind the scenes thing.
He still has my vote, but he lost a little of my respect.
It makes the apology luke warm.
But I guess he is not the anti-politician we all thought he was.

When a group of individuals such as the nevertrumpers set the table for a problem and it occurs they might not be responsible for the immediate issue, but they are culpable just the same.
I guess thinking about how this stuff looks is not appropriate for Free Republic anymore.

I don’t think Trump is a good candidate. I find him distasteful in his fake “every man” show. But I also find him a wonderful alternative to Clinton.
