Its been a while since we checked in on Rachel Dolezal, which makes sense because she seems to have been keeping more of a low profile since being outed as a not particularly black representative of the NAACP a while ago. But shes back in the news this week, having landed a new gig at a Martin Luther King Day event in January. So I take it that all has been forgiven? (Associated Press)
Former Washington state NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal, who was criticized last year for passing herself off as black, has been tapped to speak at a North Carolina Martin Luther King Day celebration in January.
The Raleigh News & Observer reports the theme of the MLK Dreamfest Celebration in Cary, North Carolina, Healing Race Relations through Conversation and Participation.
Event organizer Al Cohen tells the newspaper that Dolezal was depicted as a major villain through media because of her preference of racial identity. He says Dolezal committed no crime, adding that She only had an affinity for a group of people, and she served her community well.

If she can get away with “identifying” as another ethnic identity, does affirmative action die as millions of whites start identifying as protected / privileged ethnic groups?
I wonder, if we have DNA testing done and find we have one or two percent African DNA, can we say we are Black?
Geneticist say we all originated in Africa. Can we all be Black.
I believe, a while back it was announced that there was a drug being tested that helped weight lose, regrew hair, and darkened the pigmentation of skin, to the point that everyone could have very dark complexions. That drug disappeared. Heh, we can all be Black and say All Lives Matter, without being attacked.

She can start a new movement....

Well, these racist black people hate white people. They love it and hate us when we denigrate ourselves and beg for mercy for our supposed past offenses. They get sick pleasure out of these dumb leftist white people.
Add “transmogrified” and I think you’re good.
What happened to the latest PC craze, Race Appropriation?-)
The thing that’s ridiculous is that at present there isn’t any particular reward for being black, as there is for bieng in a tribe or native Hawaiian. In theory, yeah, affirmative action opportunities (although research suggests that “mismatch” renders said opportunities less than useless), but I’ve heard nothing about Dolezal benefiting from that. She was a part-time university instructor (believe me, that pays less than minimum wage often), unpaid NAACP leader, and underground hair braider.
