And so what? Steve Harvey is a talk show host, not a journalist.

People make appearances on talk shows like Oprah, Ellen, the Tonight Show, etc. to promote themselves or their movie or TV show. They don't expect and you shouldn't expect to see any hard questions.

It’s possible that the “cheating” done in Hillary’s behalf (questions given in advance, teleprompter on debate podium, ...) are because Hillary’s mental condition is such that she needs these crutches in order to stay in the game.
