Perhaps Ryan re-read the Preamble to the United States Constitution, reviewed "the People's" vote during the greater-than-ever turnout for the Republican Primary, and then decided that if "the People" chose Trump, not the "insiders," then perhaps it was time for him to fall in line with "the People," not the "progressives" in his own Party.
