I don’t think it’s that simple. We ratified treaties with the UN. I don’t think anyone knows exactly how many treaties entagle us.
But the good news is that we can get out of most treaties.
Not only that, but constitutional rights arguably ‘trump’ treaties. And here’s the fun thing — we can amend the constitution to scrap treaties if need be.

As I explained to someone (a dipshit college professor) this morning , “We’re not part of the European or North American Union yet and there is no world government - yet. We are still governed by a constitution that mandates the ratification of treaties by the United States Senate and we don’t have a king, not even Obama.”
