Vandals have attacked a future federal asylum center in the canton of Fribourg, causing substantial water damage over seven floors.
Police said the act of sabotage occurred over the weekend in the former boarding school in Giffers, Blick reported.
The building was flooded after taps were turned on and sinks were damaged.
The Guglera asylum center, which would house up to 250 rejected asylum seekers awaiting deportation, is due to open next year. …

Because it could take years until (if!) they are actually deported? And as long as they’re there they will commit the usual crimes in the area?

Quite understandable. These people are probably the worst of the worst. The troublemakers. I would not want them housed near me for months & even years. Besides, as the left gets more and more control, they will probably allow these POS’s to stay in Europe and they will end up settling near the detention center.
