>>Yeah, the Sun set on America as it was founded back in 1861.<<
Ain’t that the truth.
yep.
Trump cannot return the Republic unless he is an effective and powerful dictator who can and will abolish the Agencies. And if he can and does that, well, we are probably stuck with an all powerful dictator. I think the best we can rationally hope fore with Trump is a hiatus in the process of totalization of government and a few years of prosperity before the curtain closes down.
My wife says granting women the right to vote was a disaster for the Republic. Women in the aggregate vote for security for themselves and their children. Liberty is not terribly important. That said women should not be restricted from running for and occupying office. Those who get elected where no women vote will not be part of that “women in the aggregate.”
I think the sun has gone down on America.
Setting because close to half of our voters would rather live in a Euro-Social Democratic Welfare State.
The windows in that room are north exposures. So the sun would have traveled from right to left, casting light on the left side of the room first and later in the day on the right side.
I've often thought that an overriding law should be that every new law should have an expiration date and that a bipartisan official should have to monitor any laws due to expire so that national security is not jeopardized by unwitting expirations. This way, ideas can be tested but discarded if they are not working.
The hymn “Morning Has Broken” was of Christian origin long before Stevens recorded it.

I just got back last weekend from a trip to Yorktown, Williamsburg and Jamestown. Last time there was our honeymoon 32 years ago. Then I was proud to be an American. This time, I felt profoundly sad. I realized that current generations care nothing for these symbols of the unique American Idea. They are destined to fall into ruin over the next few decades, forgotten relics of “white privilege” and “shock capitalism.”
I know that, I was just adding the lyrics that came up from Cat Stevens. When I searched on it in YouTube it did show several versions. It was the first one I grabbed. This was played at my grand mother’s funeral. That song comes to mind every morning when I go out to the back deck and watch the sun come up.
I wasn't going to mention that one, but the evidence is telling us "Yeah, that was a bad idea."
That said women should not be restricted from running for and occupying office. Those who get elected where no women vote will not be part of that women in the aggregate.
I have no issues with that. We've got some women in elected office that are way better than a lot of men.
It all sounds good and well to return America to its past, but I don’t know how to farm.
Are you aware Cat Stevens converted to Islam and was banned from the U.S. until the Obama Administration?
We’ve had some 230 years to correct THEIR mistake.
Article V.
Worst was 19th imho.
I don't think our founding fathers envisioned muslim, atheist, shinto, pantheism, satanism, etc, as deserving protection under the law and an equal voice. I don't think they intended freedom of speech to mandate pornography forced on us.
The USA needs to break up into smaller countries. The heartland is one. The left coast is another. Etc. Otherwise we're all going to go down the left wing toilet.
If my reading of the electorate is correct; If Trump loses, the safeties come off.
