In the latest partisan escalation on the Federal Election Commission, a top Democratic commissioner has ripped a Republican commissioner's bid to protect books, radio and Internet media from regulation as "pitiful."

Ann Ravel, a former FEC chairwoman, joined other Democrats at a meeting this month to block Republican Lee Goodman's proposal to explicitly expand the "press exemption" from regulations to books, satellite radio and Internet-based news media.

In pushing his plan aside, Ravel said that she didn't have enough time to consider Goodman's proposal.

Goodman noted that the proposal has been under consideration for a while

Liberals have grown confident that regulations don’t apply to them. Now I say that, but it is possible that they have heard the mainstream leftist position so much that anything right of center sounds extreme to them.

Well, yes - that’s the whole idea.

The voters can’t be allowed forums on which to voice their concerns.

Why not? Freedom of religion is dead. Freedom of speech is dead. The right to keep and bear arms is dying. Protections against unreasonable search and seizure are dead. Protections against unreasonable fines are dead. The Ninth and Tenth Amendments are dead. Liberals have destroyed so many of our God-given and constitutionally-protected individual rights, that they might as well go for freedom of the press too.

The political left is pure evil.

"In pushing his plan aside, Ravel said that she didn't have enough time to consider Goodman's proposal."

But enough time to cough up her hard-wired lib furball as a conditioned response. What a genital wart this one is.

Meh. We knew this all along. Once liberalism started nosediving because of truth over the net, we knew the DC fags would have to destroy FR and such likeminded web sources. It's 1984 and all.

Thing is, it doesn't make any difference. We have a Republican Congress who has stabbed us in the back, as did our last Repugnant president, as does the RNC, etc.

We don't need an internet. We don't need truth. Even the cockroaches we elect toe the globalist, liberal party line.

This is why we have a peaceful revolution headed by Donald J. Trump in an effort to take America back.

If Trump does not win, or if Trump does not deliver on his promise and restore the rule of law, I expect this to get exceptionally ugly. I pray that we can avoid that disaster.

As long as ‘freedom of the press’ abides by the current MSM model of the Propaganda Wing of the Democratic Party, globalism, political correctness - then that is the model these Democratic hacks want across the board.

I don’t know if you caught this but awhile ago it was leaked that during one of Shrill’s talk to donors she promised to end dissenting opinions on the internet.

And they call Trump “Hitler”.

Genital warts are demanding an apology. They’ve started a new hashtag against you: #WartFeelingsMatter.

I find myself in a strange dichotomy of alternately being highly skeptical of Donald being able to make good on most of his promises...and desperate that he somehow will. Even if it involves taking the productive half of the USA and making a new nation entirely. Because the alternative is either a slow painful road to permanent ruin or a free-for-all civil war that will probably end with nothing left worth fighting for.

We’re already due for some ugly reality checks after electing the son of a barbarian and a monkey twice. A hard-left Democrat win now literally means “don’t bother voting; train for war instead”.

Or it could end up in a retoration of the USA.

The FEC should regulate the Rat partisan shills who “moderate” the “debates”

Hillary Clinton has shown that the Just-Us department is dead and that the Freedom of Information Act/Open Records provision is dead too.

Apparently the most transparent administration ever does not believe that you have a right to know.
